2 – Christmas members give away – win prizes, money, and hampers.

The Xmas fishing match was held on 3^rd December in freezing conditions with both Morgan’s and School Pool covered in ice. Firstly, a big thankyou to Albion Rovers for hosting the presentation, the local tackle shops for donating prizes, we had reels, vouchers, pole rollers and bait cutters. A big thankyou to everyone else who contributed, supported, and made the event a success. The presentation and raffle were a huge success with anglers claiming their prizes and sharing their fishing stories! With each other. The results are in

The Woodstock / School Pool match was attended by 29 anglers spread over the two lakes. The overall winner with 20lb 6oz – Aidan Williams bagged himself a Xmas hamper worth £100 and the first-place pools money.

The biggest fish competition on Morgan’s was attended by 5 anglers, some big fish were lost during this specimen battle – however the winner Richard Aherne with a Perch weighing in 8oz took the Xmas hamper worth £100.
