Juniors & Seniors – chance to win £50 tackle shop vouchers

Juniors

Starting from June 19th ending September 16th. Win a £50 tackle shop voucher of your choice for catching the biggest fish of each of the following categories.

  • TENCH
  • BREAM
  • PERCH
  • CARP
  • ROACH
  • RUDD

Seniors

Starting from June 19th ending November 16th. Win a £50 tackle shop voucher of your choice for catching the biggest fish of each of the following categories.

  • TENCH
  • BREAM
  • PERCH
  • CARP
  • ROACH
  • PIKE

Rules

  1. Take a photograph of the fish, write down the weight, the species, the pond, the tactics. Your membership number and the membership number of the person who weighed it with you and any other relevant information.
  2. Send the information and photo / photos to newportanglingassociation1899@gmail.com We will then confirm to you if we accept the entry, so the more evidence the better.
  3. Results will be published ongoing from start of the competition and throughout until the closing date. Overall winners will be announced after closing date.

 

 

 

Christmas members give away – win prizes, money, and hampers.

Christmas members give away, is a fishing event covering the whole Bettws complex. Whereby match, carp and pleasure anglers can fish together to win a range of prizes. At the end of the match there is a presentation at the Albion Rovers Football Club in Kimberly Park.

Entry to fish is £5, everyone wins a prize at the presentation and the left-over prizes are raffled. There are optional pools for both Match and Members prizes of £10.

1 – The match element is as usual biggest bag of fish (weight) wins running to lowest, lakes used Woodstock & School Pool.

2 – The Member element is fished on Morgans and Biggest fish wins, weights descending.

3 – Member biggest fish wins a Christmas Hamper worth £100 and match biggest weight wins Christmas Hamper worth £100.

Annual Match Championship

  1. Starts from June 16th, 2023, and ends June 15th, 2024.
  2. You must book in to fish the match.
  3. When fishing NAA matches, you must adhere to all rules – Match Secretary decision is final
  4. You MUST turn up and register before the draw time, if the draw as commenced you will be REFUSED
  5. No Committee member or Honorary member can claim license. Membership will go to runners up by default.
  6. Members will need to produce membership on Match Secretary request.

 

Bonus Pot – Golden, Silver Pegs

  1. £1 from the entry cost goes to the bonus pot.
  2. Minimum entrants to win a bonus peg is 14.
  3. To win you must have fished at least 1 match previously.
  4. When the Golden Peg is at £60 the extra will form the silver peg
  5. When Gold and Silver pegs are at £60, they freeze and the £1 automatically form part of the match pay out.
  6. At the start of the match a Gold – Silver – peg will be drawn, and you will need to win the match to claim the prize.

 

Rules

  1. All members are automatically entered for free.
  2. Club champion points matches are indicated on match sheet.
  3. 20 out of 26 matches will count – section points will be allocated based on section size. Min section 7 and max Section 10 – DNW will get 1 point.

(Example 10-man section – 1 points for 1st, 2 points for 2nd, 3 points for 3rd and so on)

(Example 7-man section – 1 points for 1st, 2 points for 2nd, 3 points for 3rd and so on)

  1. If drawn then it will go to the most section wins achieved, if drawn then section seconds and so on
  2. The Lowest score wins.
  3. The pay out at the end of year is as follows: – Based on a £420 pot (pot dependant)

1st        £150    + (Free membership) – 2nd      £120 – 3rd        £90 – 4th
